Lotus Microsystems has joined the Altera Solution Acceleration Partner (ASAP) Program, a global ecosystem that brings together technology providers supporting the development and deployment of FPGA-based systems.
Through this collaboration, Lotus Thermal Guides (LTGs) are now listed in the Altera Partner Solutions portfolio. LTGs are silicon-based thermal jumpers that are thermally conductive while remaining electrically isolated. They create low-resistance thermal pathways that guide heat away from hot semiconductor components toward cooler regions such as ground planes or heat spreaders within the PCB.
As computing platforms continue to scale in performance and power density, effective thermal management becomes increasingly critical. LTGs enable designers to manage localized hotspots directly at the component level, improving heat dissipation while preserving electrical isolation and supporting reliable operation in densely integrated electronic systems such as FPGA platforms, optical modules, and other power-dense electronics.
The Altera Solution Acceleration Partner (ASAP) Program is a global partner ecosystem that brings together technology providers across key markets such as data centers, communications, and embedded systems. The program spans multiple technology domains supporting the development of modern FPGA-based systems, including development boards, intellectual property, software tools, design services, manufacturing, and thermal solutions. By combining Altera’s FPGA technologies with a network of specialized partners, the ASAP Program helps accelerate innovation and tackle complex design challenges.
By joining the ASAP ecosystem, Lotus Microsystems expands collaboration opportunities with companies developing next-generation FPGA platforms and high-performance electronic systems.
