Product in development: Please contact us for early access or more information
The LBK0504 is a miniaturized step-down converter featuring small size and high efficiency. The power module integrates the power management integrated circuit (PMIC) and the inductor in a compact 2.0 mm x 2.5 mm x 1.1 mm package. The package is optimized for automated assembly by standard surface-mount pick-and-place equipment.
The LBK0504 also features an I2C interface which can be used to configure the protection circuits, soft-start circuit, I2C address, and timeout. The protection circuits include input under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-temperature protection (OTP), output over-voltage and under-voltage protection (OVP and UVP), and cycle-by-cycle current limit.
The device can be used in parallel to multiply the output current (up to 4 phases in parallel). The LBK0504 features ultra low-noise performance, making it a primary candidate for low-noise applications.

The LBK0504 evaluation board provides a streamlined platform for device characterization, providing dedicated test points the different signals. The output voltage is adjustable via a user-replaceable feedback resistor, and includes an SMB connector for synchronization to an external clock source.
The board also integrates a microcontroller on the bottom layer to manage register configurations and interface directly with the LMS PRISM Console.
