Lotus Microsystems is hiring!

We are looking for a motivated IC designer to join our R&D workforce. You will be assisting with the development of our next generation power converters for a wide range of applications. You will be working on a state-of-the-art technology, within a team with hands-on experience in the power electronics, IC design, and semiconductor process fabrication areas. You will contribute to the development of our business and presence through your technical background, communication skills, and market requirements understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Technical marketing for our products and advising our customers on the best-suited solutions for their applications
  • Provide the product training and technical advice needed to help our customers adopt our solutions on their platforms
  • Design and implement evaluation kits and application boards for our power converters
  • Develop technical literature for our solutions (product briefs, datasheets, and application notes)
  • Take part in product development and testing of our power converter solutions
  • Conduct competitive analyses with other products on the market
  • Gather and report market feedback and application needs and modifications to the R&D team
  • Participate in regional fairs and trade shows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • High level of understanding of power management circuits and systems (such as linear regulators, switch-mode power supplies, and charge pump circuits)
  • Good understanding of one or more of the following: control systems, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and wireless power transfer
  • Good understanding of analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design (preferred)
  • Experience with the design and implementation of power supplies
  • Experience with PCB design, assembly, and experimental validation
  • Experience with prototyping, testing and rework of electronics
  • Experience with mechanical design tools, e.g. Solidworks, is a plus
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skill
